Jessica Murray

Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

Jessica Murray, M.Ed., Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, brings a unique blend of experience working with diverse populations, particularly individuals with disabilities and developmental challenges. Her journey began in Upstate New York, where she discovered her passion while working with Easter Seals outdoor summer school program.

After earning her bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Michigan in 2018, Jessica dedicated four years to working as a Registered Behavior Technician, providing ABA services to children with autism spectrum disorders across Michigan and Florida. During her undergraduate years, she was actively involved with Best Buddies and completed an internship at The University Center for the Child and Family under BCBA supervision.

Jessica joined the Oasis team in January 2022 and graduated with her Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida Atlantic University in 2023. She has completed intensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy through Behavioral Tech, enhancing her ability to support clients through life’s challenges.

Jessica specializes in supporting individuals with chronic health conditions, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and anxiety disorders. She incorporates creative and play-based interventions while helping clients develop social skills and navigate life’s challenges. Her therapeutic approach emphasizes helping clients discover and leverage their unique strengths while providing compassionate support. She creates a warm, accepting environment where clients can work toward reaching their full potential.
